A wee fireside scene with plenty to look at: a seated figure, a spinning wheel, a black cat and a mantel full of little details. This vintage ashtray has a softly coloured glaze and a fluted rim that frames the illustration beautifully.
The shamrock mark underneath reads “Irish Porcelain” and “Made in Ireland by Wade Co. Armagh”. Pop it on a side table for its original purpose, or give it a new life as a catch-all for rings, keys and other small treasures. No chips or repairs.
