A romantic little silver plated footed bowl, embossed all the way around with ribbon bows and garlands of roses. The rim is ruffled with a fine beaded edge, and it sits up on a neat pedestal foot.
It is stamped with an EP (electroplate) mark on the side, alongside a worn maker's mark. The plating has worn back on the raised areas, letting a warm golden tone show through the aged silver patina. Lovely for rings and trinkets, wrapped sweets, or a tiny posy.
