A lovely vintage cream jug by Kermiko Potteries, the Henderson-based New Zealand pottery that produced slip cast stoneware from around 1978 before retiring — making their pieces genuine NZ collectibles that are increasingly hard to find.
This jug features a smooth cream body finished with a rich, glossy brown drip glaze across the rim and interior, with a fine yellow accent band where the two meet. The body is decorated with a sweet floral transfer: white daisy-like blooms and golden-brown leaves on a russet stem, the kind of understated botanical detail that sits beautifully in a vintage kitchen setting.
Well-proportioned with a good pouring spout and a comfortable loop handle. Use it daily at the breakfast table or display it alongside other NZ pottery pieces — either way it earns its place.
Good vintage condition with no chips or cracks noted.
Measures approx 11 x 10 cm
