A charming vintage piece for the China cabinet. This twin-handled lidded jar features a classic blue and white chinoiserie transferware design, with figures, pagodas, fencing and florals wrapped around the body, and a matching domed lid topped with a ball finial.
The two loop handles are detailed with a small dash pattern, and the lid edge carries a neat geometric border. A lovely little jar for sugar, trinkets, or simply displaying on its own. Please note there is a small pinhole mark in the base ring and a tiny dark fleck on the interior base, both typical of age and firing, and reflected in the price.
